Based on some reading I've done, including some at http://fins.actwin.com/species/anemone.html, I am considering purchasing a Entacmaea quadricolor Bubble anemone and a clownfish.

I currently have an Aqualife Powercompact lighting unit with 4 65 watt bulbs. 2 are 10,000K and 2 are actinic 3.

Is that enough light for this anemone?

If so, how many hours each days should I have the lights on? I currently have them on from 7-9 am and from 5 to 10 pm (when my family's home to enjoy the aquarium).

This is my first forray into caring for an anemone, so I will appreciate any answers to this question, or any other tips you might offer.

Thanks for any input you can give me.

I also have a question. I have 2 65 watt 50/50 bulbs set up for a 50 gallon long tank. I currently only have 4 fish because i am only fifteen and they are expensive, but i want to get a anenome. I was wondering 1)will it eat my fish 2)what kind should i get and 3)will i have enough lighting for it? Anyone who knows what there talking about please reply back.
Thanx 8)

I have a great site which will help you choose your first anemone and don't worry too much bout anemone eating fish cos usually this doesn't happen usually the fish only get stung by the anemone won't really kill your fish I guess and most other fish will avoid the anemone of cos not for anemone eater and clown fishes who live with then and as for the light I don really noe how much you give the anemone to achieve better results but of cos lets wait for the others who noes bout this to reply soon. :D

here is the site
