we have read that goniopora especies are not suitable for home aquariums, but what about alveopora, are they also extremely difficult animals to mantain?.

Aleveopora has been demonstrated to be much easier to keep then Goniopora for unknown reasons. Unfortunately, they are harder to obtain in most parts of the world, especially the US.
