I have had these black box leds about a foot above my tank for about a year now. I’m currently running 75% blues and 25% whites for 4 hours at peak. Lights come on at 8am Ramp up till noon them ramp down from 4 till 8. I notice growth and color on some corals and some haven’t changed in months.

Wondering if anyone else has had success with these kinda light and what kinda schedule you had it on?

I have black box viparspectras over my 125. I run my blues at 70 from 9am to 10 pm and whites from 12-7 at 10 percent. I see good growth for the most part. I think the lights grow the corals pretty good. The only times when I have problems is when I don’t keep my ca alk mag as stable as I should....

My viparspectras are about 12" from water surface, i run 50% blue 10 hours and 50% white 8 hours and get good growth.

Like grsfish mention, making sure your parameters are stable and at the right level is important.
