over flow and macro algae

just tought i'd share this. along with the my fuge, i got an accident boost in nutrient removal from my dual over flows. when i fed my tangs some calupera and chaeto a while back, some of it got caught in my over flow and ended growing there. gets light from my haliades and is firmly fixed. i remove a little bit every two weeks and can see my tangs foraging there as well. on one over flow i got turf algae and another macro algae. dont know where the turf algae came from, but i definitely pull clumps off. obviously all the water passes them, so its a nice bonus. the overflow is one those that have the bottom slits and the top slits do water is pulled from the bottom as well.
