I'm sure I'm over-reacting again. I've noticed 2 or 3, quarter wide, and about the height of 3 quarters, mounds in my sanbed with very thin brown tentacles waving from them. They aren't the usual blood red worms I normally see. These protrude from the mounds and wave in the body of water. One mound is near my one clam and waves it's tenticles and "feels" around the clam. Any thoughts?

Hi,

It is just a suspension feeding tube worm. A normal component of the sediment fauna.

Not to worry.

Cheers, Ron
