i got some worms with my shipment for ipsf.com they are pink and fuzzy and have a dark stipe on the side. is this a bristle worm? should i take them out? this is a 10g that i have set-up for breeding amphipods. no fish in this tank just ls & lr.

You should'nt have any problem with the worm(s). They are good detrivores and help to keep the sandbed clean. People used to be affraid of bristle worms eating corals or clams. But the majority have not observed this behavior in their reef tanks. I used to remove them, now I leave them in, corals never touched, they just eat detritus in my tank.

If they show up in your tank just keep an eye on your corals at night to see if they are doing any damage.
