This may be painful for most of you but I have no idea what I need as far as model or type. I have never used a chiller but I am going to run a cooler system so I need one. I need a chiller that can handle a 100 gallon system and is as small as possible because I don't have much room in the stand.

Not a good idea to put it in the stand. they need circulation to work properly. If you must I mite sugest a pacific coast.Their customer support is great if you ever need them. As far as size I would look for a 1/5 HP for a 100 gal.

what name brand are you looking for ,

for a 100 gal i would go with a 1/4th hrs power ,,i can gt you an ecoplus chiller ,,its $524 plus shipping ,(new for the company)
