ETSS skimmers

Dom,
Don't you think its a overkill for 100gal?

I'm running a etss2000 on my system, round 700gal sheer volume of H2O.

I was thinking of getting the short 1800 myself, but If you really want the job done right, there is no other way of cutting with ETSS; big ass downdraft tubes, with big loud pump!
The problem with 1800 being compact and all, it releases too many microbubbles to the sump, so U also need huge sump to combat microbubbles from being released back into your tank!

I have an ETSS 750 on a 250 gallon system. I would use the 1800 or similar skimmer on the larger system and move the 750 to the 100 gallon.

I am not worried about micro bubbles because they can always be dealt with.

BTW, nice skimmer!
