I?m very interested in purchasing a colorful Favites frag either this week or most likely next.

My only concern is that I recently upgraded from a 6g to a 10g and I?m currently experiencing a nitrate reading of 10 < 15ppm. Can this be a problem for such a coral? If so I'll have to postpone my purchase.

Thanks!

Is the reading stable or increasing? A favites coral should have no problems dealing with nitrate levels that high as long as they are stable/dropping and your other parameters (calcium, alkalinity, pH for ex.) are in order.

Deanos: thanks for the info; I appreciate it.

SF: I sent you a PM

If anyone else has an offer, especially if they’re selling one that’s blue, please let me know.

I'm also very much interested in acan’s and brain corals; provided that the nitrate range listed in the first post is not an issue.

Thanks again
