Hey everybody I am new to this forum and I am glad that it has a breeding section. I have a 30 gallon and a 12 gallon nano. I have a pair of clarkii's in the 30 with some other fish and just a piar of ocellaris's in the nano. I really really want to breed these fish. They are babies except for one of the ocellaris's. How old and big do they have to be to breed? Also are there any ways to get them to breed definitley?and Faster??? Please let me know thanks!

Hi Mark,

The fish should be around 10-12 month old when ready to breed. There´s nothing to do to make it faster. But you should pay special attention to the nutrition of these fish, so when the time comes you will have good pairs, which will produce hard larvae. Have a little patience, the joy of seeing a 30 gallon tank with 300-400 small clonwfish sure worth it.
