No. I have water lillies in my pond. My pond is about 650G and the the pump for the waterfall is 2200 GPH.

Its +- 500 gallon.
Nice pond Louey, how are your lillies doing, are they hardy, dont the fish -koi- eat them?

I never did get any Koi. The comets I have do seem to munch on the dead parts of the lillies. I'd say the lillies are doing quite well.

Hey Louey- I would think high water temps would be a problem down south- is it?

I haven't had any problems so far, so I guess not. I did lose a small pleco. Found his body, so I know it wasn't a predator. Think that could be temp related?

The water lillies do mind the high temps. Plenty grow in the wild here.
