Yup..Len is right. I've seen lotta posts on the internet about putting in in the oven to 'recharge'
Anyone thinking of doing this, it won't work. The temperatures needed to do this are beyond what you can get in a normal range, and it doesn't do much for 'charging' the carbon anyway.

It's cheap...buy a big container and get a bulk discount :)

The only way is to combust it in an oven that runs around 250-350C... not something I'd suggest attempting in your average home environment.

I have heard of stories of people attempting to recharge carbon and having their house smell very bad for a couple days afterwards too.
