I had found it laying on the bottom of my sump when i cleaned it out. Does anybody have an idea what it is?

The body doesn't really match what the article describes. Even when i touched it it didn't retract.

BTW, why are these subjects moved to the beginner's forum? If there's no other place for it, than maybe a hitchhiker's forum is in order! Ditch the regionals!

Maybe the worm is dead?
When I first spotted mine it took me a while to identify it, Those worms can have different shapes, but mine looks exactly like yours, and it looks like those pics that I googled:

You're just mad your post was moved.:tongue1: :splitspin There's no need to ditch one forum for another...space is not an issue.

Actually it looks more like the one in the first picture. I just wanted to know for future, it's too late now. :(

Honestly though, if i needed to post in the beginners forum i would have done so. I am not a beginner, and frankly, the question was more than "What should my salinity be"...But i guess since i didn't know what it was then i am a beginner, it's ok, MOD on....
