Unkown Crab

My friend took a picture of this crab not knowing what it was. I know they live often on beaches inside the crevices between the rocks in the jedis. Ive seen em in jersey and theyre probably found in NY too. Sometimes used as bait for people fishing off the beach. If anyone has an idea of what this is, please post.

Green crabs......best bait for tog (black) fishing!
They are a transplant from japan.

I dont think theyre fiddler crabs since they dont have that single large claw, and i dont think its a green crab since i think those get larger than i know these to get.

EDIT: theyre horrible bait if your going for sea-bass or summer fluke, dont know about black fish

i caught one of those last summer and put it in my cichlid tank. it didn't survive.

If it's one of those Jedi crabs you might want to be careful with it. I hear they use mind tricks and are quite deft with light sabers.
