Dr Ron,
I understand that indeterminate development means that the fate of cells is determined late in the blastosphere development and is based on cellular communication. Does this have any relationship with totipotency?

Can organisms with determinate development have totipotent cells?

Actually, most cells lose their indeterminate nature and become quite determinate by the 4th cleavage.

Yes, it does have something to do with totipotency. For a very short period these cells can do it all, after that period, though, they are locked into their fates.

Not as far as I know of.
