Hi all,
I just recently got 2 corals that are fairly common and was wondering how others on this forum feed them. They are Euphyllia ancora (hammer coral) and Caulastrea furcata (trumpet coral).
Your feedback would be most welcome.

I have two species of Euphyllia that accept very small pieces of stuff (I've tried various marine fish, shrimp, clam, etc.). If the piece is too large they eventually let it drift away.

I also make it a point to squirt them with a turkey baster from time to time with whatever frozen food I'm feeding the fish. I think they get a lot of stuff out of the water column when the fish eat (messy fish :) ) too.

That combined with decent lighting seems to be keeping them healthy and growing.

Never kept Caulastrea, so I can't comment there.
