In his recent Aquarium Invertebrates articles (http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/mar2004/invert.htm), Sprung states that green star polyps are Briareum asbestinum. Is this name interchangeable with Pachyclavularia sp., specifically Pachyclavularia violacea? If not, what is Pachyclavularia violacea and is it actually ever imported? Here are some photos of my colony, I would be interested in knowing the correct name.
