Wow...great shot and cool fish! How fast did you have to set your shutter speed to freeze that fast-dangling lure of his? :) Anglers are fascinating...I would consider setting up a nano just for one of these guys... keep posting!

Heh.. no.. waving his lure around trying to attract lunch! Heh.

No shutterspeed.. it's a sony f505 digital.

Hi Jeremy,

While the Sony chooses the shutterspeed for you, it also records this information inside the jpeg as something called EXIF data.

There are a bunch of photo browsing programs out there that will allow you to view this information. Doing so helps you improve your shooting technique (not that it needs improvement on this shot).

Photoshop's file browser will show you the info. There is also a cheap shareware program that I used to use called picmeta PIE or Picture Information Extractor.
