I was perusing local frag traders and ebay auctioneers for SPS and other corals. Have any of you bought frags off ebay before? Positive experience? I guess it could go either way -

a) Some schmuck scamz you, or sells you crappy livestock

or

b) You get a great speciment from an avid hobbyist. . . .

Try do it locally if possible. You will need to get into ebay and mail order to get something that is not available locally.

Get mailorder from someone who knows reef will ensure you a good specimen most of the time. Usually you will know after one or two emails.

Usually that happens when you pretty much been to every hobbyist's house within 150 mile radius, and know every specimens they carries... :wink:

Yes liquid it's at the top of my list for when i actually start purchasing livestock. I did a few quick searches but was having trouble finding stuff in my area. Minnesota isn't even in the search by location dropdown. Oh liquid, How could you?
