i am running the skimmer now and it workings great but the problem i have is that my sump does not have a section where the water level will always be the same level and this skimmer does't like it when the water is to high or to low. it is in perfect shape and works perfect when water is set at level that it asks for. i am looking for another skimmer that does not get effected by the level of water in my sump.

Dave,

If you have the room inside of your tank you can place the skimmer inside.
That is what the skimmers is made for (Inside) then you will not have to worry about the water level. That Tunze is a great skimmer. I gave you the brackets for the skimmer to hang.
