I have had this for about 1 year now but I am not sure exactly what it is. I think it is some type of leather but not sure. It hasnt grown hardly at all since I got it. It was given to me by a friend. TIA

Is it yellow in life like it looks in the pic?

Because I want to say Sinularia dura, the cabbage leather, but all the ones I have ever seen were bubble gum pink.

IMO, it's very hard to tell at this stage in its growth. I'd say it's a Sinularia sp., but that's about as far as I'll go ;)

other than the fact that it isn't spreading as fast as you may like, , it looks very healthy-the 'stalk is nice and smooth, and the polyp extension is excellent :D
